BYC Sump Baffle Plate.

Oil starvation happens during hard cornering and heavy braking and is a particularly common problem on track. This baffle plate has been designed to prevent oil surges caused by oil shifting from centrifugal forces.

The plate is CNC laser-cut to the necessary shape to fit your original h22a7 oil sump.  This means it can't be welded in wrong ( just drop in and weld).

Please note: Once the plate is test fitted into the sump allow a 1mm gap around all sides for oil return and it should be welded into its permanent place by a professional.

Suitable for Honda H22a7 2.2 Type R series engines.  This baffle plate is installed on my H22a7 H2B TimeAttack EG civic which has been built for corners and speed.

This plate is thicker than the baffle plates available on the market, to avoid cracks caused by heat expansion and shrinkage due to the use of thin materials.
